560 Quantum Scalar i6000 User’s Guide
The following table describes the elements on the Drives dialog
box.
Element Description
In the Drive(s) area:
Drive Type
drop-down list
Enables you to select the type of drives you want to list on the Drives dialog box
(for example, LTO1 for LTO-1 tape drives). All lists every drive in the library.
State The state of the drive (Varied On, Varied Off, or Pending [if in transition]).
Drive Type The type of drive (for example, LTO2 - FC).
Mode The mode the drive is in: Online or Offline.
Online indicates all SCSI and host commands are accessible.
Offline indicates any move command is disabled.
Location The location of the drive by means of a coordinate system. For information
