Original operating instructions
4.12 Decommissioning
Proceed as follows if the machine is to be decommissioned for a
prolonged period:
Note
Observe permissible ambient temperatures according to Chapter 3.
CAUTION!
Check the seals every 6 months.
1 Choose a dry and dust-free storage location.
2 Position the machine on level ground.
If the ground is not level, secure the machine using chocks.
3 Switch off the machine as described in Section 4.11.
4 Check the machine for leaks (refrigerant, oil, etc.).
5 Clean the machine according to maintenance instructions.
Ensure that the cleaning agents do not corrode the seals or
enter the swiveling connection slewing track!
6 Replenish operating fluids and lubricants; see the
maintenance instructions for the fill quantities.
7 Lubricate the machine according to maintenance instructions.
Lubricate the swiveling connections while slowly swinging the
upper structure (fill grease supply if necessary). For this,
manually lubricate using central lubrication until fresh grease is
released at the lubrication points.
8 Switch off the battery isolator switch.
9 Protect bare metal parts (e.g. piston rods of hydraulic
cylinders), see maintenance instructions.
