7.2 Raising the upper structure
Safety instructions Observe the safety instructions before starting
work.
DANGER
 Sling the upper structure only at the designated lifting points. The
lifting points are marked yellow and have a green loading hook
symbol.
 Ensure that the lifting equipment has a sufficient safe working load
and stability is secure.
 The following is suitable lifting equipment:
–Crane
– Telescopic crane
 Ensure that the sling devices have sufficient safe working load and
are intact.
 The following are suitable sling devices:
– Chain suspension
– Cable suspension
– Round loops/sling devices
 Be careful of the danger zone!
There must be no one next to, on or below the machine.
DANGER
The area below a suspended load must be kept clear!
Procedure with
counterweight
1 Select a suitable lifting crane and sling devices.
Note the weight and center of gravity of the machine.
2 Fasten the sling devices on lifting points F

3 Hoist the upper structure carefully.
