Original operating instructions
6.5.7 Moving the machine (crawler undercarriage)
DANGER
Danger of accident due to faulty operation!
If the boom is positioned above the drive wheel, the drive movements
of the machine are reversed. Proceed with utmost caution when
working above the driving wheel or want to move the machine.
CAUTION
Significant material damage is possible!
Driving over raised or lowered obstacles such as thresholds, rails, or
curbs can cause high point loadings for the track frame, the idlers, the
chains, etc. This can cause cracking and breaking of the tracking
components (e.g. idlers).
Driving over such hindrances e.g. ties, rails, curbs, etc. is not permitted!
SENNEBOGEN accepts no liability for damage resulting from such
non-intended use!
Travel operation is only permitted on even, smooth and preferably
concrete (concrete slabs) paths/streets! Pay attention to ground load
capacities.
Moving with suspended
load
Comply with the following instructions when moving with a suspended
load:
Danger of tipping! Keep loads as close to the ground as possible
when moving.
Always position boom lengthwise to the undercarriage.
Only attach 50% of the rated lifting capacity.
Mast (option) – only move the machine lengthwise and without load.
Only drive on even ground with sufficient load-bearing capacity.
Lock the floating axle.
Reduce pendulum movements of load by sensitive driving.
Negotiate corners with as wide a radius as possible.
Joystick steering
(option)
The machine is driven using both control levers. The left-hand traveling
gear is controlled with the left-hand control lever. The right-hand
traveling gear can be controlled with the right-hand control lever.
To enable the control lever for the function move machine press the
switch (1).
