Original operating instructions
6.6 Refueling the machine
The machine can be refueled in two ways:
Manually
Using a refueling pump/refueling pump (mast).
DANGER
Fuel is damaging to health and easily inflammable.
Smoking or an open flame is strictly forbidden.
Position the machine on a firm, even subgrade.
Only refuel when the engine is shut down.
Fuel must not ingress ground or waterways.
Always ensure that no fuel overflows during refueling.
Before filling, the fluid level in the tank must be determined, and thus
how much more fuel the tank can hold.
When refueling from a tanker: the maximum filling speed is 200 l/min.
(52 US gpm); if the filling speed is any higher, the fuel will overflow.
The filling procedure must be monitored at all times, no matter how
the filling is done.
Note
Observe the notes in the operating instructions of the engine
manufacturer.
