6.5.14 Operation with the generator and magnet unit (special
function)
Follow the following safety instructions:
WARNING
Connection and assembly work on electrical installations must only
be performed by trained specialists and must be performed in
accordance with the applicable national regulations.
Connection and assembly work on electrical installations must only
be performed when the installations are switched off and de-
energized. Risk of fatal injury as a result of an electric shock! Drive
units that are switched off must be secured against involuntary
re-starting (e.g. by removing and storing away the ignition key)!
Never connect the generator system to the public mains system or
to other power generation systems. Never connect several
generator systems together. Risk of fatal injury and damage!
The generator system is designed for permanent installation. Start-
up is prohibited until it has been established that the entire system
complies with the provisions of all applicable guidelines.
Only operate the system with protective covers for the drive; these
must be fitted in accordance with the applicable regulations. Danger
of injury!
Never perform visual inspections for maintenance purposes or
cleaning work on the generator system during operation. Switch off
the drive machine in advance and ensure that it cannot be started
unintentionally (e.g. by removing and storing away the ignition key).
Risk of fatal injury as a result of an electric shock!
Earthing the load line (positive or negative conductor) of the
generator cancels out the “protective isolation” safety measure and
is therefore prohibited.
The strong electromagnetic fields of the magnetic plate can
temporarily affect the functionality of pacemakers. People with
pacemakers must not perform service work on the generator system
and must maintain an adequate safety clearance to the magnetic
plate.
Parts of the generator can become very hot during and after
operation. Danger of burns!
During operation, the generator supplies potentially fatal electrical
voltages! Never touch the generator itself or the devices connected to
the generator with wet hands during operation. Risk of fatal injury as a
result of an electric shock!
