8 Troubleshooting

 The personnel for maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting
must have the appropriate qualifications for this work.
 For work not described in detail, please notify SENNEBOGEN

8.1 Driving engine
Note
Observe the instructions in the engine manufacturer operating manual.
Engine does not start
Cause Remedy
Battery power too
low
– Recharge or replace the battery.
– Start the machine using the auxiliary
battery.
– Ambient temperature too low.
Fuel tank empty – Refuel the machine.
Engine power drops
Cause Remedy
Suction resistance too
high (fuel)
– Exchange the filter in the water separator.
– Use fuel pre-warming (at temperatures
below 0°C)
Machine does not move
Cause Remedy
Parking brake actuated – Release the parking brake.
Gearbox defective – Have the fault remedied.
Oil or fuel leaks from
the engine
Cause Remedy
Hose connections
loose
– Tighten the hose connections.
Hoses or seals damaged – Replace the hoses or seals.
