6.5.15 Working with scrap metal shears (special function)
Follow the following safety instructions:
WARNING
 Risk of accident as a result of suspended loads!
Always lower the load when work is interrupted.
Never leave the driver's cab when a load is suspended.
 Activate the overload warning device.
 Do not carry out any form of work that will reduce the stability of the
machine.
 Attachments (e.g. scrap metal shears) and load elements can
swing. Proceed with extreme caution.
 Observe the danger area.
CAUTION
Select the correct rating in SENCON (see Section 6.4.1).
The scrap metal shears are opened/closed using the right control lever
and swung using the potentiometer on the left control lever.
Directions of movement:
F Close scrap metal shears
E Open scrap metal shears
Scrap metal shear motions:
1 Swinging, left
2 Swinging, right
