4.9 Lubricating the machine manually
CAUTION
Comply with the safety instructions before you start with the tasks.
4.9.1 General
CAUTION
The reservoir for the central lubrication system must always be
adequately filled in order to prevent damaging the bearings.
Note
The machine is equipped with a central lubrication system for the
swivel and the equipment as standard equipment.
.Note
In normal work use each lubricating point must be lubricated once
a week. Accordingly, under difficult use conditions lubrication must be
executed more often, e.g. daily or once per shift.
Examples of difficult operating conditions:
 Multi-shift operation.
 Increased drive mode proportion of more than 25 % of operating
time.
 Operation in extremely wear-promoting material.
 Frequent contact with water or corrosion-promoting substances.
 Operation at extreme temperatures.
 Frequent telescoping.
Note
All lubricating points on attachments (e.g. grab) must be manually lubri-
cated. Comply with the instructions in the supplemental documentation.
Note
The lubricating nipples must be covered with a red protective cap after
the lubricating process
