No heat or insufficient
heating power
Water escaping from the
unit
Air flaps can no longer
be adjusted
Cause Remedy
Water intake temperature
too low
– Wait until the vehicle engine is
warm
Engine thermostat defective – Replace the thermostat
Heat exchanger fins dirty – Check the heat exchanger and
clean if necessary
Water lines kinked or
squashed
– Rectify the cause of the fault or run
the hose properly.
Water pump pressure too
low
– Coolant is not flowing through the
heat exchanger.
Air flow insufficient because
the air filter is blocked
– Clean or replace the filter.
Resistor defective – Replace the resistor
Climate control defective – Check and replace if necessary.
Cause Remedy
Hose connection
loose
– Check the hoses and tighten the
hose clips
Water hose damaged – Run and connect a new hose
Heat exchanger damaged – Install an original replacement part
and connect.
Attention! Observe the safety
instructions.
Cause Remedy
Servomotor defective – Replace the servomotor
Foreign object blocking flap – Check the flap, remove the foreign
object.
Flap deformed – Check the flap and straighten if
necessary.
Flap mount defective – Check the flap mount and replace if
necessary.
Control system defective – Check the control system and
replace if necessary.
