x. lost packages [count]:: Specifies how many data packets may be lost, i.e. how
many times the update may fail before the device enters the error state.

Network delay [%]:: Additional tolerance to avoid errors that could occur due to
delays in data transmission.
The transmission time in the network is calculated on the basis of the last three
parameters and displayed in the Response time via network [ms]: field.

Mobile hazardous area protection is suitable for AGVs (automated guided vehi‐
cles), cranes, and forklifts to protect people when vehicles are moving or docking.
The safety laser scanner monitors the area in the direction of travel and stops the
vehicle as soon as an object is located in the protective field.
