Fuel Tank Lines
Impulse/Fuel Lines Spring Clips

Always reposition spring clips after any repair to
prevent possible leaks.
Throttle Cable Circlip at Handlebar
(all models)
Put silicone grease (P/N 413 7017 00) around ca-
ble barrel. Locate circlip as per illustration.
Models with Easy Action Throttle Lever

WARNING
When draining a fuel tank or whenever a fuel
line is disconnected, obstruct line with a
hose pincher (P/N 529 0099 00) or equivalent
device. Fuel is flammable and explosive un-
der certain conditions. Ensure work area is
well ventilated. Do not smoke or allow open
flames or sparks in the vicinity.

WARNING
If this procedure is disregarded, throttle
might be half-open at normally closed posi-
tion and the engine will speed up when
starting.
