INSTALLATION
On fan cooled models with oil injection pump, re-
install oil pump on rewind starter assembly.
Thread starter rope
no. 6
through rope guide
when applicable.
Reinstall rewind starter assembly on engine.
Prior to installing starter grip
no. 13
on new rope,
it is first necessary to fuse the rope end with a lit
match. Pass rope through starter grip and tie a
knot in the rope end. Fuse the knot with a lit
match then insert rope end down and pull the
starter grip over the knot.
