Note that the name of the bundle is prefixed with " for mono, () for stereo and for (you guessed it) 5.1, and the
c
omponents are prefixed with (! for stereo left and (' for stereo right, or ! for 5.1 left, ' for 5.1 right, for 5.1 centre,
! for 5.1 LFE, !( for 5.1 left surround and '( for 5.1 right surround.
Components are still named after their physical connection (( > etc.), so that troubleshooting or physical
overpatching may be performed easily in the future, and are also displayed in green.
‰ Press $; to make this new bundle (note that any original component names are erased when you do this) or touch
&D9C to cancel. The components in a bundle are automatically named the same as the title of the bundle, but they may
be individually renamed by touching each of the green components in turn in the list shown opposite.
For example, AES digital inputs 1-1 to 1-6 are fed from a DVD player in the screenshot below, so they have been made
into a 5.1 source called +:
‰ To dissolve an I/O bundle, touch the $#1=5B / *>4?$ box and then the list item you wish to remove – all
the components will become individual again.
‰ When you’ve finished modifying items in the (?DA35B or 5BC9>1C9?>B list, make sure you select the (1E5 box!
Note that the chainlink icon indicates that the source has Control Linking data associated with it, the mic icon indicates
that the source has been designated an On-Air source, and the pointing hand icon indicates that the source has been
included in a Quickroute list.
