4. Insert the alignment disc.
5. Press the MENU knob.
The result appears.
If failed:
The following screen appears.

This menu allows you to check the skew.
Menu hierarchy:
[DRIVE MAINTENANCE]
→ [CHECK]
→ [SKEW]
1. A confirmation screen appears.
2. Select “YES” by turning the MENU knob, and press
the MENU knob.
A warm-up screen appears.

If five minutes has already passed since power ON,
this screen appears just for a moment.
If the power has been supplied to the unit for over five
minutes, you can select YES and proceed to the next
step even after you turn off the power and then turn it
back on.
3. A confirmation screen appears when “0000 SEC” is
displayed.
