8-4. Skew Adjustment

Make this adjustment with the loader assembly detached.
Fixtures
. Alignment disc (PFD23A-RS)
. Flat-blade screwdriver
. Locking compound
. Weight (50 to 100 g)
8-4-1. Tangential Skew Adjustment
1. Display the adjustment item referring to Section 8-1-3.
2. Select “SKEW” by turning the MENU knob, and press
the MENU knob. A confirmation screen appears.
3. Select “YES” by turning the MENU knob, and press
the MENU knob.
A warm-up screen appears.

If five minutes has already passed since power ON,
this screen appears only for a moment.
4. A confirmation screen appears when “0000 SEC” is
displayed.
5. Set the alignment disc by referring to steps 4 to 6 in
Section 8-3. Select “YES” by turning the MENU knob,
and press the MENU knob. The skew adjustment
selection screen appears.
6. Select “TAN ADJUST” by turning the MENU knob,
and press the MENU knob.
A confirmation screen appears.
7. Select “YES” by turning the MENU knob, and press
the MENU knob.
The result appears, and a confirmation screen appears.
