1. Power ON the printer (see “Powering ON the Printer” (page 105) for instructions).
2. Open the oven door.
3. Place a new build sheet onto the platen and confirm a good vacuum seal firmly holds the
build sheet in place. Ensure build sheet is installed with the smooth side down.
4. Make sure that the tip wipe assembly’s brushes as well as the printer’s tips are clean and
that the purge area is free of purged material debris.
Warning: Hot Surface Hazard
Always wear proper heat protective gloves and clothing when handling items inside
the oven, as surfaces within the oven can be very hot.
Caution:
Always wear gloves when installing the build sheet. Hand oils on the build sheet
surface will result in poor part adhesion.
Never print in the same location more than once on a build sheet when building a
job.
Using build sheets not provided by Stratasys may impact part quality and printer
reliability.
