12.2.2 Pad cleaning – right-hand version

Fit a new roll of cleaning tape to the lower roll holder. In doing so, pay attention to the
unrolling direction.
C Guide the cleaning tape under the deflection roller, out the other side, and then
upwards.
D Guide the cleaning tape to the left over the table surface, around the deflection roller in
the table surface and then downwards.
E Guide the cleaning tape to the right under the table surface, around the deflection rol-
ler and then upwards.
F Guide the cleaning tape around the deflection roller and to the left.
G Fit the empty roll core onto the upper roll holder and stick the cleaning tape on the roll
core. The cleaning tape can be made taut by turning the lower roll of tape backwards.
12.3 Changing the cleaning tape
1. Pull used cleaning tape off the upper roll holder.
2. Pull the empty roll core off the lower roll holder and fit it on to the upper roll holder.
3. Fit a new roll of cleaning tape to the lower roll holder.
4. Insert the cleaning tape as described above. See Chapter 12.2 "Inserting the cleaning
tape" on page 40.
12.4 Setting the tape tension
The unrolling brake can be adjusted by twisting the lock nut B
on the lower roll holder.
• Clockwise turn = increase tape tension.
• Counter-clockwise turn = decrease tape tension.
