19.2 Overview
Pad printers can be fitted with ink cups of different sizes and designs.
In the majority of cases, the principle structure of the ink cups is identical. Slight deviations
from the illustrated images are possible.
Assembly works are to be performed on a level and soft underlay (e.g. rubber mat) in
order to ensure that the sensitive blade edge of the doctor ring is not damaged.

19.4 Tools
Special tools are required in order to connect the ink cup and the cliché in the correct posi-
tion.
19.4.1 Setup table
The ink cup and the cliché are con-
nected on the setup table.
