3. Procedure Two
3.1 Piston rod gland − removal
WARNING
Injury hazard. You must
prevent unwanted move-
ment of the crankshaft
when you do the mainte-
nance.
1) Disconnect the knee lever (1) from
crosshead (2) and use a chain block to
lift it.
2) Use the turning gear to turn the
crankshaft (3) 90° anticlockwise from
B.D.C.
3) Install working support 94143.
4) Remove four bolts (4) together with
locking plates, see view I.
