4. Remove Tray 1 (Paper Take-up Cover). See Tray 1 (Paper Take-Up Cover) on page 5-6.
5. Remove four screws [1] and the Front Cover [2].
Caution: When removing and reinstalling the Front Cover, use care not to touch the
Developing Roller of the Toner Cartridge.
Precautions for Remounting the Front Cover
1. When remounting the Front Cover, make sure that the two tabs in [A] are properly fitted in
position.
2. When tightening the screws, make sure that there is no clearance between the machine
frame and Front Cover [B]. If there is any clearance, tighten the screws, while pressing the
machine frame.
