Photo Conductor (OPC Drum) Drive Mechanism
■ The Photo Conductor is driven by the Main Motor (M1).
■ When the Main Motor (M1) is energized, it turns the drive gear, which in turn rotates the
Photo Conductor.
Photo Conductor Cleaning Mechanism
■ The Cleaning Blade is pressed up against the surface of the Photo Conductor, scraping
residual toner off the surface.
■ The toner scraped off the surface of the Photo Conductor is collected in the waste toner bin
inside the Imaging Unit.
