socket.

Replace the brake light bulb, socket or
both.
2. Check the front brake light switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-83.
Replace the front brake light switch.
3. Check the rear brake light switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-83.
Replace the rear brake light switch.
4. Check the entire signaling system’s
wiring.
Refer to “CIRCUIT DIAGRAM” on
page 8-21.
Properly connect or repair the signaling
system’s wiring.
This circuit is OK.
1. Check the turn signal light bulbs
and sockets.

Replace the turn signal light bulb(s), sock-
et(s) or both.
2. Check the turn signal switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-83.
The turn signal switch is faulty. Replace
the left handlebar switch.
