INSTALLING THE CYLINDER COVERS
1. Install:
• Rear cylinder right cover “1”
• Rear cylinder left cover “2”
• Front cylinder right cover “3”
• Front cylinder left cover “4”
NOTE:
Tighten the cover bolts temporarily, and then
tighten the front bolt, then the rear bolt, to spec-
ification.

INSTALLING THE SHIFT ARM
1. Install:
• Shift arm “1”
NOTE:
Align the “I” mark “a” in the shift shaft with the
punch mark “b” in the shift arm.
2. Adjust:
• Shift rod length
Refer to “ADJUSTING THE SHIFT PEDAL”
on page 3-23.
