LOCLANR (Rx Laser-Abnormal)
The corresponding SNMP name for this condition is “localOscLevelAbnormal”.
AIDTYPE Default
Severity
Probable Cause Suggested Corrective Action
CH MN The drive current,
required to obtain the
desired optical signal
output power level
from a laser used for
the facility coherent
signal detection, is
abnormally high given
the present operating
conditions.
This likely means that the laser is
aging and is approaching its end-of-
life point, at which time the laser will
fail resulting in a traffic affecting
condition for the facility.
Replace the plug or module
supporting the facility, as
appropriate, during the next available
scheduled maintenance window.
