Standing Conditions
T-ATTRMT-HT (Attenuation Tx High)
The corresponding SNMP name for this condition is
attOnReceiverFiberLowerThanMonitor.
AIDTYPE Default
Severity
Probable Cause Suggested Corrective Action
DCN NA The attenuation of
the transmitted
signal level as
measured at the far-
end receiver
exceeds the
provisioned
threshold value.
1 Verify that the threshold level is
provisioned correctly, and that the
far-end threshold levels are
provisioned in a consistent manner.
2 Assuming the near-end and far-end
threshold levels are set to
consistent values, corrective
actions would typically occur in
response to a SPGAIN-OOR-HI
(Span-Gain Too High) condition
reported by the far-end, in which
case this condition is informative in
nature and no additional corrective
actions are needed. If the system
is configured such that these
corrective actions are normally
initiated in response to this
condition instead, please follow the
procedures described for the
SPGAIN-OOR-HI (Span-Gain Too
High) condition, performing them at
the far-end.
OM The attenuation of
the transmitted
optical line
monitoring signal
level as measured
at the far-end RSM-
OLM module
receiver exceeds
the provisioned
threshold value.
