MEA-CAPABILITY (Capability
Mismatch)
The corresponding SNMP name for this condition is “capabilityLevelMismatch”.
AIDTYPE Default
Severity
Probable Cause Suggested Corrective
Action
MOD MJ The capability level of the module
physically inserted in the identified
position does not meet or exceed
the provisioned level. The
mismatch occurs only if the correct
module type is equipped but the
capability level of that module is
below the level provisioned.
Review the provisioned
settings for the module
and then replace the
incompatible module
with one matching the
provisioned attributes.

MEA-CHANNEL (Channel Mismatch)
The corresponding SNMP name for this condition is “channelMismatch”.

ECH CR The external
channel facility has
been provisioned
with a channel
assignment
incompatible with
the channel-specific
port to which it has
been connected.
Review the provisioned settings for the
facility and determine whether the
provisioned settings match that of the
remote equipment port represented by
the facility. If the provisioned values
are correct, this suggests that the
remote equipment is connected to the
wrong port, and appropriate
provisioning and cabling changes
should be made. If the provisioned
values are incorrect, change them to
the correct values, consistent with the
values supported by the remote
equipment port.
