Creating and Using Bit Files
Recalling a User File
In this example, you learn how to recall a user-defined data file from the memory catalog. If you have not
created and stored a user-defined data file, complete the steps in the previous sections, “Creating a User
File” on page 195 and “Renaming and Saving a User File” on page 197.
1. Press
Preset.
2. Press
Mode > desired real-time format > Data > User File.
3. Highlight the file USER1.
4. Press
Edit File.
The Bit File Editor opens the file USER1.
Modifying an Existing User File
In this example, you learn how to modify an existing user-defined data file. If you have not created, stored,
and recalled a user-defined data file, complete the steps in the previous sections, “Creating a User File” on
page 195, “Renaming and Saving a User File” on page 197 and “Recalling a User File” on page 198.
Navigating the Bit Values
Press
Goto > 4 > C > Enter.
This moves the cursor to bit position 4C in the table, as shown in the following figure.
