Creating a User-Defined CDMA Forward Link State
This procedure teaches you how to perform the following tasks:
• “Accessing the Table Editor with the Default Forward Link Setup” on page 309
• “Editing cdma2000 Forward Link Channel Parameters” on page 309
• “Inserting Additional cdma2000 Forward Link Traffic Channels” on page 311
Accessing the Table Editor with the Default Forward Link Setup
1. Press
Preset.
2. Press
Mode > CDMA > Arb CDMA2000.
3. Press
More (1 of 2) > CDMA200 Define > Edit Channel Setup.
The table editor is now displayed, as shown in Figure 10-1. Notice that the default predefined channel
configuration is forward link with 9 channels at spread rate 1. The vertical scroll bar at the side of the screen
indicates that there are more rows on the second page. Use the down arrow key to move the cursor to view
additional rows.

1. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the traffic channel located in table row 3.
2. Highlight the Rate bps value (9600).
