NOTE The trigger status reset is automatically performed whenever the frame sync trigger mode is
changed or the Apply Channel Setup softkey activated.
Out Sync Annunciator
When the timing of the external frame synchronization signal does not match the signal generator’s frame
generation, the Out Sync annunciator is displayed. Out Sync replaces Sync Trg under these
conditions.
The signal generator’s frame synchronization method depends on the trigger mode selected:
Single Trigger The frame timing is adjusted at the first trigger. All triggers, except the first one are
ignored and not used for signal generator frame timing.
Continuous
Trigger All external triggers are used to adjust the signal generator’s frame timing.
Figure 16-86 describes trigger mode and synchronization patterns.
