Cooling Performance Free Cool
The free cool potential of the DeltaChill can be determined by the temperature difference of the ambient air and the
return water temperatures. The graphs show a temperature difference and therefore changing Freecool ability.
The cooling capacity is derived by multiplying the total number of Fans on the unit by the values of owrate and capacity.
Example
Return water temperature 14°C
Temperature difference from ambient to return water temperature 10 K
Therefore ambient 4°C
DCF047DX-09DXY0 chiller having 9 fans equates to
Cooling capacity 39kW x 9 = 351kW*
Flowrate 1.5 l/s x 9 = 13.5 l/s*
*Exact cooling capacity and water owrate may change for unit given above.
