Cooling Performance Free Cool
The free cool potential of the DeltaChill can be determined by the temperature difference of the ambient air and the
return water temperatures. The graphs show a temperature difference and therefore changing Freecool ability.
The cooling capacity is derived by multiplying the total number of Fans on the unit by the values of owrate and capacity.
Example
Return water temperature 14°C
Temperature difference from ambient to return water temperature 10 K
Therefore ambient 4°C
DCF047DX-09DXY0 chiller having 9 fans equates to
Cooling capacity 39kW x 9 = 351kW*
Flowrate 1.5 l/s x 9 = 13.5 l/s*
