The procedure below describes how to configure TACACS+ through CLI.
To configure TACACS+ through the CLI:
1. Establish serial communication with the device.
2. At the prompt, type the following command to access the data interface and then
press Enter:
# configure data
3. At the prompt, type the TACACS+ commands, as required, to enable and configure
TACACS+. Below shows an example configuration:
(config-data)# aaa authentication login tacacs+
(config-data)# tacacs-server host 192.168.1.55
(config-data)# tacacs-server key Tumble
