4.1 Outline of the Image Formation System
• The major differences include the sequence of image formation (to CMYK) and an in-
crease in the process speed.
• The rest of the image formation process are the same as those of the CLC1000 Series ma-
chines.
• The following items found in the CLC1000 Series machines are not used in the machine:
→ Detection of home position for the transfer belt
→ Control of attraction position
→ Grounding roller
