Note: This is only the expected time of the uptake measurement for this protocol. The
actual time the study is performed will determine how results are calculated. The
actual time will appear on all reports.
The CAPTUS
®
600 printout can indicate whether uptake measurements are within a normal
range, which is determined by the next two fields, “MINIMUM NORMAL VALUE:” and
“MAXIMUM NORMAL VALUE:”. If you want to establish a normal range for this
measurement, input the minimum and maximum boundaries in these fields. If you do not
need to determine a normal range, leave these fields at the default values of 0% and 99%.
This normal range is defined by markers on the graph in the results report. They do not in
any way define normal values in a diagnostic sense. Each facility must establish these
values. The actual uptake results are the data to check when reading reports.
Press F4 [OK] when all entries are correct.
If more than one measurement was selected for this protocol, the next screen is the same as
Figure 7-17, except that the “UPTAKE NUMBER:” line has changed from 1 / 4 to 2 / 4.
Continue inputting information in this parameter screen until you finish the last Uptake
Number for this protocol.
After all the data has been entered, the protocol may be printed and/or saved (
Figure 7-18).
