6. Remove the two fuel rail bracket bolts (1).
(Tighten: Fuel rail bracket bolts to 11 N·m)
7. Remove the fuel rail with the four fuel injectors (1).
8. Remove the clip holding the fuel injector to the fuel rail.
9. Remove the fuel injector from the fuel rail.
10. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Installation Notes:
• Install new O-ring seals on the fuel injector sealing surfaces.
• To ease the installation of the fuel injectors, use a small amount of engine oil between the injectors and the
fuel rail.
• Use care to match the correct fuel injector with the correct fuel injector electrical connector when reconnecting
the fuel injector electrical connectors.
• Place each fuel injector in the injector bracket vertically, then attach the injector to the bracket with the retaining
clips.
