Automated Manual Transaxle (AMT) Gearshift Mechanism
Removal & Installation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the lower console (See Lower Console Removal & Installation in Section 15 Body & Accessories).
3. Disconnect the gearshift mechanism electrical connector.
4. Remove the four gearshift mechanism retaining
bolts (1).
(Tighten: Gearshift mechanism retaining bolts to
10 ± 2 N·m)
5. Remove the gearshift mechanism from the bracket.
Automated Manual Transaxle (AMT) Control Module
Removal & Installation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the lower console (See Lower Console Removal & Installation in Section 15 Body & Accessories).
3. Disconnect the three AMT control module electrical
connectors.
4. Remove the AMT control module retaining bolts
(1).
(Tighten: AMT control module retaining bolts to
10 ± 2 N·m)
5. Remove the AMT control module.
