AMT Hydraulic Fluid Inspection
Use and Selection of Proper AMT Hydraulic Fluid
When refilling the AMT system hydraulic fluid, only use approved hydraulic fluid specifically designed for the AMT
system (Chery Part No. QR512E-4004011) available in one liter containers. No other fluids such as transmission
fluid, brake fluid or power steering fluid can be used. If any other type of fluid is used, the AMT system could expe-
rience the following failures:
• Damaged seals
• Deposits formed in fluid
• Excessive air bubbles in fluid
• Unable to mix with residual fluid
• Insufficient hydraulic pressure
Refilling AMT Hydraulic Fluid
Perform the following procedure when refilling the AMT hydraulic reservoir with the approved fluid.
WARNING!
Do not refill the AMT hydraulic fluid until the internal system pressure has been relieved to 0 bar.
6. Connect the X-431 scan tool to the diagnostic connector.
7. Release the internal system pressure to 0 bar.
8. Check the fluid level in the fluid tank.
9. Fill the AMT hydraulic reservoir to the specified level shown inside the tank.
NOTE :
32 - 38 mm higher than the lowest fluid level marks for 372QQAMT
