Diagnostic Procedure
1.
CHECK DTC
• Perform DTC confirmation procedure.
Is DTC P0604, P060C or P0613 present?
Yes
>> Go to the next step.
No
>> The conditions that caused this DTC to set are not present at this time (See Diagnostic Help in Sec-
tion 08 Transaxle).
2.
CHECK AMT CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
• Check the AMT control module voltage supply and ground circuits for an open, high resistance or short circuits.
Is the check result normal?
Yes
>> Go to the next step.
No
>> Repair the circuit for an open or shorts as necessary.
3.
CHECK DTC
• With the X-431 scan tool, read AMT control module DTCs.
• Refer to 9DTC Confirmation Procedure9.
Is DTC P0604, P060C or P0613 still present?
Yes
>> Replace the AMT control module (See AMT Control Module Removal & Installation in Section 08
Transaxle).
No
>>
The system is now operating properly.
Reassemble the vehicle and road test to verify the customers complaint is repaired.
