3. Remove the two retaining bolts (1) that connect the
rear cross stay to vehicle body.
(Tighten: Rear cross stay bolts to 110 ± 10 N·m)
4. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Rear Suspension
Removal & Installation
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel mounting nuts and the wheel assembly.
(Tighten: Wheel mounting nuts to 110 N·m)
3. Use a jack to support the rear axle.
4. Remove the parking brake cable (See Parking Brake Cable Removal & Installation in Section 12 Brakes).
5. Loosen the two brake oil hose clamps (1) on the
rear trailing arm and remove it.
6. Remove the rear brake shoes (See Rear Brake Shoes Removal & Installation in Section 12 Brakes).
