Removal & Installation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Evacuate the A/C system (See A/C System Evacuation and Recharge in Section 13 Heating and Air Condition-
ing).
3. Remove the nuts (1) that secure the A/C pressure
line assembly to the A/C evaporator.
4. Remove the A/C pressure line clamp retaining bolt from the engine body.
5. Disconnect the A/C pressure switch.
6. Remove the retaining nut (1) on the accumulator
and remove the A/C pressure lines.
NOTE: After removing the A/C lines, plug the A/C
lines to prevent any debris from entering the A/C
system.
