Table 2-50 show switch service-modules Command Output
Field Description
Switch The switch number in the stack. For a standalone switch, this number is
always 1.
H/W Status
• OK—The service module is operating and all features are supported.
• POWER-BAD—The service module is experiencing a hardware failure.
• FPGA-NOBOOT—There is a hardware failure related to the service
module FPGA.
• CPU-NOBOOT—There is a hardware failure related to the service
module CPU.
• SWITCH-HW-REV—The hardware version of the switch is not new
enough to support the service module. The service module runs in
pass-through mode.
• LB-PASS-THRU—The switch is running the LAN base feature set,
which does not support the service module, so the mode is pass-through.
Temperature
(CPU/FPGA)
Temperature (Centigrade) of the service module CPU and the service module
FPGA.
CPU Link
• connected—The service module is operating, and
service-module-specific features are available on the SFP module ports.
• notconnected—The service module is not operational. The ports are
operating in pass-through mode and supporting only standard switch
features.
CPU Version The software version of the service module.
