AS-410M Auto Slide Preparation System
< Sample feeding >
It is used to feed samples from sample trays to the
Sample Holder. Touch the Sample-To-Be-Fed No. field to
open a numerical keypad and specify the sample No. of a
sample to be fed.
FEED button
It feeds the sample corresponding to the sample No.
specified above from the sample tray to the Sample Holder.
If there is a sample already on the Sample Holder, the
sample will be returned from the Sample Holder to the
sample tray before a new sample is fed.
< Sample Trays and Extra Samples >
Sample Tray and Extra Sample controls are available
only in a System with BS-24 or BS-96.
EXTRA becomes active only in a System with BS-96.

Touch TRAY to replace the Sample Holder controls on
the “Sample feeding operation” screen with the Tray
Action controls.

FWD/BWD
STANDBY: Moves the Sample Hand to the standby position.
FEED: Moves the Sample Hand to the feed position.
PICK UP: Moves the Sample Hand to the take-out position.
SAMPLE 1: Moves the Sample Hand to sample-tray Line 1.
SAMPLE 2: Moves the Sample Hand to sample-tray Line 2.
SAMPLE 3: Moves the Sample Hand to sample-tray Line 3.
SAMPLE 4: Moves the Sample Hand to sample-tray Line 4
SAMPLE 5: Moves the Sample Hand to sample-tray Line 5.
SAMPLE 6: Moves the Sample Hand to sample-tray Line 6.
Touch JOG to display the UP/DN Jog controls on the screen.
Touch and hold to move the Sample Holder upward.
Touch and hold to move the Sample Holder downward.
The present position is displayed real-time.

UP/DOWN
UP: Moves the Sample Hand upward.
DOWN: Moves the Sample Hand downward.

OPEN/CLOSE
OPEN: Opens the Sample Hand.
CLOSE: Closes the Sample Hand.
