Unit: Slide Transfer Unit
Part: Stretching Arm
Symptom: Operation error
The stretching arm air cylinder
failed to complete its motion
within 10 seconds; or the two
position detection sensors
made ON simultaneously.
•Confirm no slide glasses in the
according position of the slide
collection box.
•Check that the pressure of the
compressor is within the specified
range.
•Manually return the stretching arm
to the left and remove the slide
glass.
•Press the HOME POSITION
button to initialize.
4015
<Error Message>
Unit: Slide Transfer Unit
Part: Extension plate temperature
control
Symptom: Operation error
The temperature sensor is
electrically disconnected or
exposed to an abnormally high
temperature (80°C or higher).
•Set the temperature controller
lower than the specified value
55°C) if higher.
•If the display shows something
other than numbers, contact DNS
for a service.

Unit: Slide Transfer Unit
Part: Extension plate rear side
Symptom: No slide
During slide preparation
operation, a slide was
transferred to the rear side of
the extension plate but the slide
presence/absence detection
sensor did not make ON.
•Check the frosted side of the slide
glass.
•Remove the fallen off slide glass if
any.
•Wipe the slide presence/absence
detection sensor lightly with a
piece of dry cloth if wet.

Unit: Slide Transfer Unit
Part: Extension plate front Side
Symptom: No Slide
During slide preparation
operation, a slide was
transferred to the front side of
the extension plate but the slide
presence/absence detection
sensor did not make ON.
4018

Part: Slide suction plate
Symptom: Suction failure
During slide preparation
operation, a slide was
suctioned but the suction
sensor did not make ON.
•Check that the pressure of the
compressor is within the specified
range.
•Exchange the slide glass if dirty.
•Remove the slide glass on the
slide transfer unit and clean the
suction plate.

Unit: Slide Transfer Unit
Part: Slide cassette
Symptom: Overrun
An overrun error occurred in
the slide cassette motor.
•Remove obstacles around the
slide glass cassette.
•Remove foreign matters such as
paraffin shaves and debris on the
sensor.
•Press the HOME POSITION
button to initialize.

Part: Slide cassette
Symptom: Limit
A limit error occurred in the
slide cassette motor.

<Error Message>
Unit: Slide Transfer Unit
Part: Slide cassette
Symptom: Initialization error
The slide cassette motor failed
to complete returning to the
home position within 60
seconds.
4027
<Error Message>
Unit: Slide supply Unit
Part: Slide extrusion bar
Symptom: Origin return error
The slide extrusion bar is not in
the origin position when feeding
the slide.
