STEP 3 FOAM CLEAN THE MACHINE
IMPORTANT!
A mildly alkaline cleaner (pH of 7.0 to 10.5) is
recommended to prevent the degradation of soft
metals (e.g. aluminum, brass, etc.).
1. With a normal pressure hose, thoroughly soak
all of the machine components and surfaces.
2. Spray Chlorinated Alka-Plus foaming cleaner
solution on all of the machine components and
surfaces. Be sure to thoroughly soak the entire
machine.
3. Spray Chlorinated Alka-Plus foaming cleaner
solution on all of the machine components
mounted on the Cleanup Cart. Be sure to
thoroughly soak the entire all of the removed
parts.
4. Allow the machine to soak for 10 to 15 minutes
cleaning.
IMPORTANT!
Do not allow the foam cleaner to dry. Dried foam
cleaner will cause a chemical build-up.
5. If you have a Takeaway Conveyor, soak the
entire machine.
6. Allow the parts in the Cleanup Cart to soak for
10 to 15 minutes before cleaning.
