STEP 4 CLEAN THE MACHINE
1. Scrub the entire machine with a brush.
(Illustration 61) Pay close attention to all
belt pulleys for the lower Infeed
Conveyors.
2. Scrub all of the parts in the Cleanup Cart
with a brush. Pay close attention to the
pulleys, belts and the inside of the
Rollers.
3. Carefully scrub and clean the Knife.
IMPORTANT!
The Knife must be cleaned prior to honing.
ACAUTION!
The Knife is very sharp! Do not attempt
to clean the Knife without the Knife
guard/carrier installed.
4. Visually inspect the machine and all of
the parts in the Cleanup Cart for areas
that require further scrubbing. Clean as
necessary.
5. If you have a Takeaway Conveyor, scrub
down the entire machine. Pay close
attention to the pulleys.
