U9 MOTION CONTROL MODULE:
The U1 Motion Controller sends command signals
and operational information to the U2 and U9
Motion Control Modules. (Illustration 40) The U2
and U9 Modules use this information to send
command and control information to the Servo
Drives under their control. Each Motion Control
Module is run by a Computer and each Module
has a programmed Compact Flash Chip. The U1
Module is the “Main” Computer. U2 and U9 are
“Secondary” Computers.
Network Communication Ports: The U9
Motion Control Module has Network Ports
located on top of the module that are used
for communication with the Servo Drives
and Servo Motors under its control.
(Illustration 41)
