XS4 Directional Valves: The “YV” Directional
Valves operate the Pneumatic Cylinders that
operate the directional valves that release the
Scale Seals and raise and lower the Classifier
Conveyors (Illustration 145). The Computer
sends control signals over the Profibus Cable to
energize the Directional Valves, when required.
There are 2 LED’s on each Directional Valve that
light when a signal to operate an air cylinder is
sent. LED 12 and LED 14.
YV12 Directional Valve: The YV12 Directional
Valve controls the operation of the Load Cell
Seals.
YV12-14: Releases the Load Cell Seals.
LED 14 will be lit. The Load Cell
Seals are springloaded and will
close automatically.
YV13 Directional Valve: The YV13 Directional
Valve controls the operation of the #1 Classifier.
YV13-12: Lowers the #1 Classifier. LED 12
will be lit.
YV13-14: Raises the #1 Classifier. LED 14
will be lit.
YV14 Directional Valve: The YV14 Directional
Valve controls the operation of the #2 Classifier.
YV14-12: Lowers the #2 Classifier. LED 12
will be lit.
YV14-14: Raises the #2 Classifier. LED 14
will be lit.
YV15 Directional Valve: The YV15 Directional
Valve controls the operation of the #3 Classifier.
YV15-12: Lowers the #3 Classifier. LED 12
will be lit.
YV15-14: Raises the #3 Classifier. LED 14
will be lit.
