3. Turn the knurled knob to engage the Deburr
Pad. Make sure there is about 2 mm (1/16 in.)
compression. (Illustration 8)
If there is not:
a. Push and turn the knurled knob to retract
the Deburr Pad.
b. Loosen the locking bolt, the jam nut and
the adjustment knob.

c. Slide the honing mechanism up or down.
A downward adjustment will increase the
compression and an upward adjustment
will decrease the overlap.
d. Tighten the locking bolt, adjustment knob
and lock the jam nut.
e. Engage the Deburr Pad and recheck the
compression. Repeat A to E if necessary.
4. Set the Deburr Pad angle to the angle of the
Knife. (Illustration 10)
