Remove all expansion cards from slot 1, 2, and 8, see "Removing an

Remove the air duct from the bottom system board, see "Removing the

Remove the power distribution board, see "Removing the defective power
distribution board" on page 132.

Remove all memory modules, see "Removing a memory module" on
page 263.
Before removing the memory modules, take a note on the installation
slot number for each memory module. Ensure that you reinstall the
memory modules in the slot they were located before the
replacement.
CAUTION
In case of NVM/LRDIMMs are not reinstalled in the right slots, data
can be lost!

Removing the defective bottom system board

Disconnect all cables from the bottom system board.

Disconnect the SAS cables which are connected to the HDD backplane.
