Precautions
When configuring a static route, note the following:
1. If you do not specify the preference when configuring a static route, the default preference will be
used. Reconfiguration of the default preference applies only to newly created static routes. The
web interface does not support configuration of the default preference.
2. The static route does not take effect if you specify the next hop address first and then configure it
as the IP address of a local interface, such as a VLAN interface.
3. If Null 0 interface is specified as the output interface, the next hop address is not required. If you
want to specify a broadcast interface (such as a VLAN interface) as the output interface, which
may have multiple next hops, specify the next hop at the same time.
4. You can delete only static routes on the Remove tab.
